An architecture decision is not a bet, it is a document

We scope your projects before the first line of code. Master plans, architecture and code reviews, technical choices: every recommendation comes with its costs, its limits and its exit plan.

Foundational decisions made under pressure

A rushed scoping phase costs you for the whole life of the project. Scope shifts, deadlines slip, and nobody remembers who decided what, or why.

Technical choices end up resting on the habits of one team or one vendor. Without an outside review, debt sets in before the system even reaches production.

From the field to the document, in three steps

  1. 01

    Scope what exists

Six weeks on average: interviews with your teams, code reading, an inventory of constraints. The scoping note sets the scope, the risks and the target budget.

  2. 02

    Cost the scenarios

For each foundational decision, we put figures on three scenarios: cost, timeline, required skills, exit plan. We recommend, you decide.

  3. 03

    Write the decisions down

Every choice is recorded in a dated architecture decision, with its rationale and the alternatives ruled out. The file stays with you, not with us.
