CASE STUDIES · THREE ENGAGEMENTS

Numbers, not adjectives

Three recent engagements, three anonymized clients. The numbers below come from production, not from a sales brochure.

The cutover window is not one night, it is a quarter

A telecom operator had to leave an aging infrastructure without stopping billing or provisioning. A single cutover would have concentrated all the risk on one night. The client wanted the opposite: short, reversible, observable steps.

We split the migration to Kubernetes into twenty cutovers, one per service, all reversible. Each cutover was rehearsed in pre-production, then executed in a window agreed with the client's teams. Three months separate the first cutover from the last.

24/7 is not a promise, it is an on-call schedule

A financial services company ran its production with an in-house team called on day and night. Overnight incidents waited until morning. Its commitments to its own clients no longer allowed waiting.

We took over production under 24/7 managed operations, with a 99.9% availability SLA. Continuous monitoring, on-call rotation, interventions only in agreed windows. A monthly report compares every figure to the commitment.

The monthly report became a daily dashboard

A retailer consolidated its sales in spreadsheets, store by store. The monthly report took five days of manual work and arrived too late to act on. The figures differed depending on which department produced them.

We built a data warehouse loaded every night from the point-of-sale systems and the ERP. Each indicator is defined once, in a shared repository. Every morning, teams open a dashboard current through the previous day.
